Why our studio light is set to daylight
Warm bulbs and window light can hide your true undertone. Here is how we set up the studio so every drape tells the truth.

Color is light. Change the light and every drape, lipstick and fabric in the room changes with it. That is why the first thing we designed at the studio was not the furniture, but the lighting.
The problem with ordinary light
Most indoor lighting is warm, which makes skin look golden and hides cool undertones. Window light changes by the hour and with the weather. An analysis done under either can point you to the wrong season.
Our setup
Our draping area uses daylight balanced lighting, positioned to light your face evenly without harsh shadows. The walls and surfaces around you are kept neutral, so nothing reflects extra color onto your skin.
Why it matters for you
Consistent light means consistent results. Whether you visit at ten in the morning or seven in the evening, rain or shine, you see exactly what each color does for you, and so do we.
